Remember back in the day when college and university students would hardly have a choice but travel to school from remote places day in and day out? Perhaps you were one of these young kids back then.
Looking for a place to stay that is close to school would be a tedious and, sometimes, dire undertaking. Either the neighborhood isn’t safe or the location of some dorms aren’t exactly ideal.
With a son who is now in college and a 13 year old daughter who is inevitably heading there as well in no time, I can’t help but mull over the possibility of finding a place for them to stay. As much as I’d like them to stay with us during school year, it might not be the practical thing to do especially if they choose a university or institution that is situated far away from home.
What’s a parent to do? Not everyone has the luxury of having a good number of homes scattered all over the metro.
This has long been a dilemma which has never been truly addressed… until now.
If you find yourself in the same predicament and figure to be in the same shoes as I am in now, you’d be glad to know that there is actually an answer to our problems already.
Just last week, I attended the launch of the University Series by Vista Residences. And with great relief, I realized that someone has finally addressed a major concern of us parents with regards to the safety and well-being of our precious children.
For those unaware, Vista Residences is a subsidiary of Vista Land, the country’s biggest homebuilder. They have a solid track record in building homes, developing properties and creating communities. Now, they have come up with the amazing idea of building a University Series to cater to a very specific and urgent need.
