What ignites your heart and calls out to your soul to set off and see the world? Perhaps to escape from the monotony of everyday life. Maybe to give you a better understanding of the world around you.
Travel has always been a remedy for a restless heart and a teacher of life that touches your soul like no school ever can.
Whatever your reason may be, here’s your chance to tell the world why you fly.
Nuffnang Philippines‘ “Blogopolis #Into The Wild” was truly the BIGGEST and undoubtedly THE BEST blogging and social media conference in the country for 2013.
I am very honored to have been a speaker together with my wife, talking about a topic that’s very close to my heart – managing social media accounts.

I’d like to thank Nuffnang Philippines for trusting our knowledge on that particular aspect of social media enough to believe that it is worth sharing with countless guests who attended the huge event. Read more
I’d like to invite all bloggers and just about anyone who is active in social media to come to Blogopolis 2013: #INTOTHEWILD (Weaving Information for Leaders of the Digital World).
Check out the video below (which my wife and I are a part of)…
This year, Blogopolis 2013: #INTOTHEWILD is taking you to the Information Jungle. With the surge of social media, and other online platforms, this conference wants to help you make sense of the digital world. Key speakers will be discussing social media know-how and digital marketing and advertising trends.
If you happen to be using a Windows Phone 8, you’re probably having a hard time looking for a decent alternative to Instagram’s native app which (still) isn’t available on the Windows platform.
If you’re still looking, check out the app called “6tag”.
It does everything Instagtam’s native app can do – tag people, like, video, comment, link to Twitter, Foursquare & Facebook (among others). Plus, on its recently released version, you can now also regram and use live tiles.
Have you updated your Instagram app on iOS this morning? If you did (and if you’re on iOS 7), you’d know that Instagram has just changed its look to a flatter design, making it fit in better with iPhone’s latest OS interface.
I actually like it! Instagram now uses iOS 7’s default font as well as its new keyboard look.
Note that you won’t see any changes if you aren’t on iOS 7… which begs the question, “Why aren’t you on iOS 7 yet?!”.
Anyways, if you’re on Instagram, and I’m guessing most of you are, pls follow me (pretty please?). My Instagram account is: @chuckiedreyfus
See ya, there!
What do you think of Instagram’s new look? Sound off below.
Great news to all Ironman 70.3 fans and participants alike!
Do you want to share your 2013 Ironman 70.3 Philippines experience and get a chance to win a prepaid mobile phone unit from Globe Telecom? Just tweet or post your pictures using the #GlobePowersIronManPH hashtag from August 3-4, 2013.
As soon as preparations for the exciting event begin, all participants — athletes, crew, and spectators can already start telling the world about what’s happening by logging in to Twitter or Instagram.
Participants with the most number of unique Twitter posts and best photo shared via Twitter or Instagram by the end of the two-day contest period using the official hashtag will each take home a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. They will be notified by Globe once tally is made.
“We want to show the world that in the Philippines, Ironman is not just about sports. It’s a lifestyle event where everybody can have fun. And what better way to do it but provide all participants a wonderful digital experience using Globe high-speed broadband internet connection so they can log in at social networking sites anytime they want,” said Yoly C. Crisanto, Head of Globe Corporate Communications.
Globe, which is a strong supporter of Ironman 70.3 Philippines since it was introduced locally in 2009, is relying on the power of social media to bring the message to the world that Ironman is entertaining and enjoyable.
For this year’s Ironman 70.3 Philippines, about 2,150 participants from 35 countries worldwide are expected to join either the individual or relay competition composed of swimming (1.9 kilometers), biking (90 kilometers) and running (21 kilometers) activities.
The most number of foreign delegates is expected to come from Singapore, followed by Japan, Australia, US, and Hong Kong.
I’d like to thank everyone who came over to Glorietta and joined in the festivities as we celebrated #SocialMediaWeekend with the theme- “Let’s move #fwdPH”.
I had lots of fun hosting the program proper with co-hosts, Patricia Hizon and Bry Ramirez… I hope you guys enjoyed it as well.
Congratulations to everyone who made it possible… the organizers, the sponsors, the guest speakers, as well as all the really helpful volunteers who spent all their time and effort to ensure the overwhelming success of this year’s whole day event.
This is one fuuuunnny video by College Humor entitled, “Look At This Instagram”… what adds to its hilariousness is the actual truth the parody depicts. Every frickin’ Instragram user can relate to it!
The video isn’t very new. Nevertheless, I’m posting it here for those who haven’t seen it yet and for those who want to see it again.
Watch the video below…
What’d I tell ya! I love how College Humor also used Nickleback’s song, “Photograph”. Perfect fit!
So… are you guilty of any of the things depicted on this parody? Hehehe…
