As far back as I can remember, I’ve always had a preference for Japanese cuisine.
But back when I was a kid, Japanese restaurants were notoriously expensive. It was quite impossible to frequent these establishments without ruining one’s budget.
As time went by, Japanese restaurants started popping up all over the metro. Different names, all sorts of offerings, not to mention the ever popular buffet concept we’ve eventually grown accustomed to. Although these establishments have started sprouting here and there, and prices of Japanese food have dramatically lowered, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the quality and taste of what these young restaurants offer are satisfactory.
Fortunately, there are a few places that offer affordable Japanese dishes that are superb in taste and presentation. You just have to look hard enough to find them.
One such place, is Yumi
Yumi Japanese Restaurant is located at the mezzanine area of the new wing of Promenade, Greenhills. The new wing is where all the Dolby Atmos movie theaters are situated.
Offering delectable, delicious and attractive dishes without the outrageous cost, Yumi is one establishment that attracts droves of customers and passers-by on a daily basis. People who’ve been to Yumi for the first time always come out happy and satisfied… some cannot even believe how Japanese dishes this good can be offered at very affordable prices.
