There are iPad Mini cases and there are iPad Mini cases… the selection is so vast and so wide that you somehow can’t seem to tell which one is the good choice. But every so often, a unique case comes along that actually stands out because of its combined beauty and functionality.
And the Gripster Wrap by Native Union, in my opinion, is one among a very select few worthy of that recognition.
Why? Because the Gripster Wrap’s beauty is simple and its features aren’t novelty at all.
Hey, dear readers! It’s review time once again… This time we’ll be unboxing and reviewing the URBANEARS Kransen.
URBANEARS is a headphone brand that’s quite popular with the younger market nowadays. The Kransen model is the latest pair of earphones released by this company.
Let’s get down to it, then…
As you can see, Kransen’s packaging is similar to most URBANEARS products. Simple and clean. I actually like the minimalist appearance of the box.
If you’re looking to get a portable bluetooth speaker that you could easily pair with your smartphone… or if you’re on the lookout to purchase a music dock alternative, you’re gonna want to read this post.
What I have right now is called the “Sound Kick” by SOUNDFREAQ.
The Sound Kick is an impressive carry-along bluetooth speaker that not only looks good, but delivers awesome sound quality based on tons of user experiences and various reviews.
You’re in a noisy, crowded environment and your trusty smartphone is in your pocket. Since you’re afraid that pulling out your most prized gadget to check for important tweets, SMS, FB, and email notifications might call the attention of snatchers and robbers, you decide to keep it securely in your pocket (or bag) instead.
Ever been in that situation before? More than once, perhaps?
What if you’re in a meeting? Constantly looking at your phone to check for incoming messages can be quite disrespectful to the person you’re having a meeting with. In the end, you choose to keep your phone turned down till god knows when. All the while, someone is trying to reach you through your smartphone and you don’t even notice… till it’s too late. Not good.
We’ve all been guilty of this. We’ve probably all been in hot water because we missed an urgent call from our spouse or from our boss.
So, what can you really do if you need to keep tabs with important people? What if you need to be notified the very minute an email is sent to you or when an emergency call comes in…? Is there a solution to this?
Fortunately, NOW there’s is!
COOKOO.
Yup! Cookoo! An analog watch that does so much more than just notify you of the time.
This impressive little gadget connects to your iOS device via Bluetooth 4.0 in tandem with a free downloadable app via the Apple AppStore.
I’m a power junkie… any iPhone 5 owner probably is.
When I’m on location during my teleserye tapings, we spend more time waiting on the set than the time spent acting in front of the camera. So, how do we while the hours away? We rely on our phones to keep us busy and to save us from boredom.
The minute my iPhone 5’s battery hits the 80% mark, I get a bit restless. When it drops to 50%, my peace of mind leaves the room. It’s one of the worst feelings, don’t you agree?
The iPhone 5 is an awesome phone… it’s pretty much a portable office, gaming console and entertainment system rolled into one. But that versatility comes at a price. It takes a huge toll on its battery. And no matter how much Apple tries to improve their iOS devices on the aspect of power consumption, we iOS users want more juice.
We end up bringing our chargers and cables hoping to find an electrical outlet nearby so we can charge our gadgets every chance we get. But we are always on the lookout for better ways to keep our iPhones away from that dreaded “red battery” icon.
So, is there a better way to keep our iPhone 5s juiced up? Hell, yeah!
I love how my iPhone 5 looks. I love it to bits! Any iPhone 5 owner would probably tell you that, if not for the risk of accidentally dropping (or banging) their own unit, it would really be swell to carry this device commando-style. Why? Because the iPhone 5 looks so damn handsome on its own.
But, the reality is that the iPhone 5 is susceptible to little knicks and scratches. Not good at all. The natural thing to do is immediately head over to a smartphone accessory shop and purchase a protector for your device so you can somehow have a little bit more peace of mind.
It’s true… an iPhone 5 casing/protector isn’t just a fashion statement. It’s a necessity especially if you care dearly for your phone.
The question now is this: Is there some sort of middle ground wherein a protector can be just as functional in “protecting” yet not as flashy as to take away from the actual beauty of the iPhone 5’s form factor?
The answer is YES.
Enter, the InnerExile Odyssey 5 Aluminum Bumper. It is everything you’d want from an iPhone 5 protector – strong, sleek, sturdy… without the overly flashy, colorful designs of typical iPhone 5 casings being sold all over.
InnerExile describes their Odyssey 5 Aluminum Bumper as follows:
Laureate of 2013 Gold Pin Design Award, odyssey 5 provides full protection to your iPhone with elegance design. odyssey 5 aluminum bumper not only protects your iPhone from shocks and scratches, but also provides a unique and elegant design. odyssey 5 comes with stylish various back covers to match your taste and style. With our patent snap lock design, odyssey 5 doesn’t need tools, takes only seconds to assemble. Take your iPhone to another level of protection with odyssey 5.
A month after getting an iPad Mini, only now have we actually fitted our device with protective casing. I guess my wife wanted to savor its “commando look” before pimping it up with a much needed cover. Can’t blame us… you know how handsome these Apple gadgets are especially when struttin’ it around in all its ummm… nakedness.
My wife really loves the iPad Mini – It’s never a burden to bring along, the battery life seems to last forever and is just as functional as its big brothers sans the bulk.
There are a ton of iPad Mini cases in the market ranging from jelly-type protectors to novelty covers so choosing the right one gets pretty confusing. But in the end, it all boils down to personal taste and functionality.
This particular protective casing boasts of a leather finish which, in my opinion, gives the iPad Mini a more elegant and classy appearance (think “pogi points”, folks!) – it’s the kind of look that never goes out of style.
It also sports a built-in “Smart Cover” which automatically awakens your device or puts it to sleep whenever the case is opened or closed.
