I’d like to thank Thinkscape for making me their brand ambassador for the Cookoo Watch and all their other really awesome tech gadgets. I was recently (officially) introduced to guests during Thinkscape’s media launch last September 12, 2013. Cheers!
It’s one thing to be able to see one of your favorite artists perform live in concert… and it’s a totally different thing to be able to not only watch a performance, but to be in the same room with your favorite artist and to have the opportunity to spend time and talk to him/her.
That’s exactly the kind of moment I had last night when my wife and I had the chance to watch Ms. Patti Austin practice her songs with the band for her concert later this evening at the Araneta Coliseum.
It was so surreal. I cannot even begin to describe how awesome it was. To be in a room with only a handful of people inside and to be right next to her while she happily goes through each musical number is just unbelievable.
The songs she ran through were the very songs I grew up listening to back in the ’80s… “All Behind Us Now”, “How Do You Keep The Music Playing”, “If I Believe”, “Say You Love Me”, and so much more.
I’m really overwhelmed with ALL the birthday greetings over Twitter, Facebook, SMS, Line, Viber, WeChat & Kakao.
I’m sorry if I can’t reply to each and every one, but I assure you that I read all the greetings.
Whether you really remembered or if Facebook reminded you (Hehehe!), the fact is that you still went out of your way to drop me a line, to say “Happy Birthday” and to wish me well. For that, thank you very very much!
My wife and I were invited to attend a food tasting event at Mercato Centrale at Bonifacio Global City earlier today. The event was called “The Next Big Food Entrepreneur”.
The were 64 different kinds of food concessionaires handing out free samples of their offerings. And by no means were their samples in small portions! It was crazy! After the first 10 stalls, I was begging to take a breather to allow the food to settle in my tummy and to prepare for the next batch of food samples.
It was great seeing old friend and good buddy, RJ Ledesma.
RJ and I go way back. We used to host a weekly musical variety show with Lea Salonga back in 1985. The show was entitled, “Love, Lea”. Yep… we did a lot of singing and dancing back then. It’s always great to catch up and talk about the good ol’ days.
Anyways, it was an awesome gastronomic experience earlier. I had more than my fill of amazing food… plus, I had a delicious cup of “Horlicks” flavored ice cream from Merry Moo – a perfect way to cap off a food-filled evening.
