Read moreBoracay is one of the most visited islands in the Philippines. It is pretty much the go-to destination for locals and tourists alike not just for summer but all year round. And with good reason.
Just recently, Boracay has once again been named Conde Nast’s, “World’s Best Island”, which isn’t really any surprise to anyone who’s been to this breathtaking paradise. That’s why it’s no wonder that many of Boracay’s visitors come to its beautiful beaches to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and to de-stress.
But, let’s face it. With all the available accommodation options on the island, it really is quite difficult choosing which place to stay at. We all want to stretch our budget whenever we’re away on travel, right? But not to the point of compromising quality service, naturally. If you’re the type of person who is looking for the perfect balance of comfort and affordability, I’ve got just the right place for you.
This wonderful hotel which you can call your “home away from home” during your getaway is called, Azalea Boracay.
Pack your bags and get ready! Summer just got a whole lot more exciting for travelers and adventure seekers!
The hype continues to build up for AirAsia as the World’s Best Low Cost Carrier today began servicing new routes to and from Cebu, Davao, Clark, Palawan and Caticlan/Boracay.
Summer is upon us! And what better way to enjoy the heat of the sun than by heading off to one of the best islands in the world — Boracay!
You’d be glad to know that our favorite (and world’s best) low cost airline — AirAsia — will allow guests traveling to Boracay this summer to enjoy more connectivity to the island with two new direct flights from Manila to Caticlan airport daily.
More great news from the World’s Best Low Cost Carrier.
AirAsia today announced it will recommence flights from Clark International Airport in Pampanga with three flights weekly to Kalibo (Boracay) effective March 27, 2017.
Philippines AirAsia CEO Captain Dexter Comendador said, “AirAsia has constantly dedicated itself to make air travel more affordable, convenient, and accessible to all and we are reaffirming this commitment with our newest Clark-Kalibo route. We are thrilled to provide the much needed connectivity at affordable fares for travellers from Central and Northern Luzon.”
I’m proud to say that although I was the oldest person in the entourage during our Globe LaBoracay 2016 getaway just last weekend, I can still hold my own when it comes to partying. Hahaha!
I’ve been to the breathtaking shores and crystal blue waters of Boracay countless times already, but it was actually my first time to visit the island during LaBoracay (Labor Day) weekend which many consider to be the wildest and craziest season of the year.
Acer sure knows how to throw a party. A #TooZesty party no less!
Just last week, the wonderful folks of Acer Philippines brought me and a couple of friends to the powdery white sands and crystal clear blue waters of beautiful Boracay to celebrate our zest for life and be one with them as they launch their newest smartphone – the Acer Liquid Zest.
Look! I’ve started scouring my cabinet and storage bins, looking for some of my old or unused sports stuff to sell online. I saw a couple of sweat straps, a jump rope, weighted gloves and a pair of weighted shoe straps which I hardly use anymore.
I don’t normally go on a frantic pace searching every nook and cranny, finding things to monetize but I just found out about this ongoing promo by OLX and it has gotten me all hyped up!
If you also have stuff that are just gathering dust or items that you’ve been meaning to sell, then there’s no better time to get right to it than NOW! Believe me… you are gonna love this.
It’s been a good while since I last set foot on Boracay Island. Give or take about 4 years, I think. It’s not that I don’t enjoy the beauty of the place, because I really do. Perhaps it’s due to the fact that I’ve been busy traveling and exploring other places that I never really thought of going back sooner.
But the call of paradise is constantly heard and is eventually heeded.
So, after a long time of being away, with family in tow, I finally returned to the island where crystal clear blue waters crash the shore with powdery white sands.
Taking an early morning AirAsia flight from Terminal 4 of NAIA, my family and I safely landed at Kalibo airport with excitement and delightful anticipation.
We are all familiar with group buying sites, aren’t we? You check what’s on promo and you impulsively go on a buying spree… regardless if you’re on a tight budget or not.
The “Hurry! Get it now at dirt cheap prices before stocks run out!” approach that group buying sites use to promote their merchant’s products compel YOU, the potential buyer, to frantically grab your credit card and buy-buy-buy. A marketing ploy that mentally conditions you to act now and worry later.
In the end, you’re left with expiring vouchers you haven’t found time to use, products you purchased out of WANT and not out of NEED, and in most cases – the dreaded credit card debt that keeps you up at night wondering how to pay back.
Apart from the unnecessary stress caused by debt which you could have easily avoided, what you get in exchange for dirt cheap prices are, more often than not, compromised quality of services.
Enter Localroam.
Localroam offers prepaid vouchers with huge discounts on products and services that range from travel packages to health and wellness treatments. Payments for these prepaid vouchers may be conveniently made through BPI Express Online, or at any BPI branch nationwide.
My wife and I had the pleasure of being at the Localroam media launch earlier. We, together with a few individuals from traditional and social media, were introduced to this new cooperative buying platform which is similar in some ways to the usual group buying structure BUT BETTER in every way because of how partner merchants are handpicked as well as they way their commodities are offered out.
