Would you believe? In just sixteen years, AirAsia has already flown over 500 million guests to over 130 destinations, many of which are unique destinations that only AirAsia flies to. Wow!
The past 3 days, which I spent in Malaysia, allowed me to cover (and witness) just how involved AirAsia is in supporting new innovations and great ideas through their inaugural regional hackathon called, AIRVOLUTION 2017.

During my visit to AirAsia’s breathtaking headquarters named, RedQ, which also happens to be one of the coolest office spaces in Malaysia (and the world, in my opinion) and the venue for this most anticipated event, I was blown away by how well attended AIRVOLUTION 2017 was.

AirAsia today announced it will reconnect flights from Clark International Airport in Pampanga with four nights weekly to Davao starting 22 April. The airline which has been awarded the World’s Best Low Cost Carrier for eight consecutive years has earlier said It will also restart Clark-Kalibo flights on 27 March.

My question now is this… is it possible for the “world’s best low cost airline” to get any better than they already are? Apparently, YES! Because something that has been a long time coming has finally happened… and I was invited to Murray’s New Orleans Bourbon Street Steaks and Oysters to hear the wonderful news firsthand!
Guess what? ZestAir is now flying with AirAsia! The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) approved “AirAsia Zest” as the new brand name of Zest Airways, Inc. CAB also approved the new logo of Zest Airways, Inc., wherein the Zest name has been incorporated into the iconic red hot circle, which is the signature logo of AirAsia.
Following this approval, the airline is currently updating its records with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) to include the new business name “AirAsia Zest” in its permits with CAAP.
