Free entrance, free food, and free fun… add all that to that a non-working holiday and you’ve got yourself one heck of an event that’s sure to be an absolute hit!
That’s exactly what happened during Gardenia’s“Happy Bread Day” event at the Glorietta Activity Center. People from all walks and all ages were there to celebrate as well as to have their satisfying fill of delicious Gardenia bread.
The entire place was packed! It was fun with tons of activities, prizes and overflowing food! If you missed this year’s festivities, too bad! But don’t fret, “Happy Bread Day” is an annual Gardenia event so watch out for the next one.
I’d like to invite everyone to attend Social Media Weekend 2013 this Saturday (June 29) at the Glorietta Activity Center, Makati City.
The theme for this year is “Let’s move #fwdPH”.
Just like Social Media Day 2012, this year’s event will be packed with activities and fun.
“Let’s move #fwdPH” means being a good citizen both online and offline. Being responsible. Being vocal. Taking a stand on issues. Exposing corruption and incompetence. Making politics work for the country, especially the voiceless, poor and marginalized. And using social media to help achieve these.
I will be hosting the program proper from 4pm-7pm.
I’m really excited about Social Media Weekend 2013 because it is an opportunity for people active in social media to truly come together and make things happen. As an individual who is very active online, I am convinced that social media is the most powerful tool, not just for communication, but as a vehicle for sweeping change. Change for the greater good. It is the great equalizer. It levels the playing field and gives each and every individual a voice.
Everyone is encouraged to come. Admission is FREE!
I look forward to meeting new faces and bonding with all of you.
