Taiwan! This is one of my fave countries to regularly visit and explore because it is very close to the Philippines, making it very convenient to travel to. Apart from that, Taiwan has so much to offer in terms of beautiful sights, culture, food, and spectacular tourist attractions.
I got the opportunity to visit Taiwan once again for 5 fun and exciting days with my wife, together with a few friends from social media, through the kindness and courtesy of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau. This is in line with their “Time for Taiwan” tourism campaign.
Naturally, vlogging the trip was a no-brainer cause I wanted you guys to enjoy the trip with me every step of the way. So, strap in and join me as we explore Taiwan together!
Guys! If you’re planning an upcoming getaway to beautiful and sunny Bali, Indonesia, check out my 5-part vlog series which covers my recent Bali adventure.
It’s travel time once again! This time, let’s explore the many incredible sights, sounds, and flavors of BALI, Indonesia!
Our first stop is KUTA. For those familiar, Kuta is a popular spot for tourists who love the fun atmosphere of the beach where surfers and party goers flock to. There are great malls, wonderful resorts and notable restaurants for all kinds of visitors.
It’s here! One of the most (if not THE most) anticipated Android devices of 2018 — the Samsung Galaxy Note 9! And it’s got a ton of wonderful features that’ll really make you want to get your hands on it soonest!
I recently attended the Samsung Local Unpacked Event which was held at the Marriott Hotel Manila this evening. And since the actual launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 was done in a different country with a different time zone, we folks here in Manila had to stay up quite late in the evening to watch the actual live-stream. So, Samsung prepared a function room at the hotel for us and made us comfortable and ready for the event.
I had the opportunity to join the entourage who attended the viewing party of AirAsia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For those who aren’t aware, AirAsia recently received the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline award from Skytrax for the 10th straight year. Members of the media (print and online) were brought in to watch the awarding via livestream inside a restaurant at Tune Hotels KLIA2.
But apart from the actual event that we attended, we also had the opportunity to spend a few hours heading over to one of my favorite go-to places whenever we visit Kuala Lumpur — Mitsui Outlet Park!
Anyways, this quick overnight trip was fun, hilarious and thrilling! Why thrilling? Because my wife and I seemed to have almost missed our flight! Don’t worry… it’s all on the vlog. So, I hope you enjoy watching it.
Just recently, our friends from Gold Seas Tuna Chunks asked me and my family to take on their fun mystery challenge. Being the competitive family that we are, naturally we immediately said YES!
So, here’s what happened… Gold Seas Tuna Chunks whisked us away to Noni’s Resort in beautiful Batangas to enjoy an amazing glamping experience where our challenge was also going to take place.
During our overnight getaway, The DREYS (that’s us!) had a delightfully unforgettable time bonding over jokes, laughter and, of course, TUNA!
Fun and food during the Gold Seas Tuna Chunks Challenge with The DREYS

If you’ve been following me on social media, you probably already know that I recently visited Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. I went there as part of an entourage that celebrated the launch of AirAsia’s direct flight from Manila to Ho Chi Minh.
Have you been following my blog? Well, if you have, you probably already know, by way of one of my recent posts, of how our household’s consumption of entertainment content has already transitioned and switched to mostly streaming via broadband.
I am slowly finding fewer reasons to stick to conventional sources of content such as cable television and free (on-air) TV. And with Globe At Home’s latest offering, my resolve to further leave cable and over-the-air television behind has never been stronger.
Globe At Home is now giving Filipinos even more ways to enjoy the latest in entertainment with the launch of its truly awesome Globe Streamwatch Roku Powered device. Yes. You heard that right — Roku! If you aren’t new to streaming devices, you know for a fact that Roku is one of the most well known brands in the market. And with good reason.
My wife and I are very competitive in every single thing we do. We love to outdo one another so much that it becomes hilarious at times.
So, it wasn’t any wonder that when our daughter’s (Isabella) school — Kids World — had their sportsfest last October 21, 2017, we attended the event with our game faces on. Hahaha! I’m always game for a little bit of competition every now and then. So was my wife.
There were lots of fun activities during the sportsfest and I had a great time bonding with Ella’s other schoolmates and classmates, not to mention her teachers and other parents.
There seems to be no stopping AirAsia’s commitment to continuously add more routes as a truly Asean airline.
Earlier today, Philippines AirAsia just announced that they will start servicing flights from Manila to Bali and Jakarta in Indonesia and to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. That’s right! Three (3) new direct routes that I’m really looking forward to.
I was fortunate to be a part of the simple and very intimate event that Philippines AirAsia setup at Bawai’s Vietnamese Kitchen at Uptown Parade in BGC to announce their newest direct flights.
