I was first introduced to Beard Papa’s by my wife many years ago. I’m not one who really goes for sweet pastries and treats that much, but since cream puffs — particularly Beard Papa’s — are my wife’s favorite, I was curious to know why she loved it so much.Read more
I love ramen. It’s hearty, filling and oh so flavorful. It happens to be one of a very few noodle dishes I actually enjoy eating apart from Spaghetti.
That being said, it didn’t take a lot of convincing for me to agree to drop by the Greenbelt 3 branch of Ramen Nagi to try out their new dishes just recently. And after trying out these new gastronomic creations, I was happily satisfied.
Ramen Nagi is currently offering deliciously new specialties – the Tsukemen and Tonkatsu-Men – that are guaranteed to make you fall in love with ramen all over again.
I live in a household that adores coffee. My father, even back when I was a kid, could hardly function without starting his day with a steaming cup of hot coffee. Every morning, my wife would get up and jumpstart the day’s activities by enjoying a satisfying cup of delicious coffee.
In my line of work (showbusiness), coffee plays a vital part in every taping day and every single shoot. And rightfully so. How can cast and crew function, especially in the wee hours of the morning without a decent “pick-me-up” drink?
Coffee is arguably one of the most important beverages of society. It breaks the ice, soothes and comforts, improves work efficiency and, yes, promotes good health.
But not all coffee drinks are made equal. Some taste better, while some offer more health benefits than others. And with a family that lives for coffee, I am quite thrilled to discover the latter.
It’s called “Nice Day Coffee”.
What makes Nice Day Coffee different, you ask? Well, it comes three (3) different variants, each offering its own health benefit… while tasting oh so good.
Remember my recent mobile data usage test to see if it was actually possible to go beyond the 3GB monthly threshold of telcos?
That particular test actually proved that even with a Fair Use Policy, I was comfortably within the 3GB data cap.
I’m actually happy that I was able to help a good number of people understand that most of our paranoia comes from the fact that we just want more, even when in reality, we consume way less data than what we think. But apparently, there is still a lot of people paranoid about the Fair Use Policy.
Some of my readers complain that non-WiFi users hit their daily/monthly data cap much faster because they are solely dependent on mobile data. That’s understandable, although mobile data was never intended to be used exclusively. This particular data service still needs to be complimented with a substantial WiFi connection. But at the end of the day, some people still cannot quite understand that.
That’s ok. No need to fret over that anymore because there actually seems to be a better solution… and in fact, I already recently made the switch!

I recently attended the launch of Bose’s two new revolutionary devices. Being a music enthusiast and a sound engineer, it was quite impossible for me to turn down the invitation. It’s BOSE for heaven’s sake!
During the event, Bose ushered in a new era of portable audio by introducing its new Bose QuietComfort 20 in-ear noise cancelling headphones and Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth speaker. Both products offer an entirely new experience when listening to a smart device or tablet, delivering performance that redefines what’s possible from mobile audio.
I went to the launch expecting to be impressed, naturally… But nothing prepared me and the other guests for what Bose had in store for all of us.

Hey, dear readers! It’s review time once again… This time we’ll be unboxing and reviewing the URBANEARS Kransen.
URBANEARS is a headphone brand that’s quite popular with the younger market nowadays. The Kransen model is the latest pair of earphones released by this company.
Let’s get down to it, then…
As you can see, Kransen’s packaging is similar to most URBANEARS products. Simple and clean. I actually like the minimalist appearance of the box.
