Hey, everyone! I’m really excited to share with you this really cool and newly opened lifestyle store my wife and I recently discovered in Makati.
The place is called CURATE.
Curate is unlike any other lifestyle store you’ve seen or been to before. That’s because, just as their store name suggests, the products that are showcased and offered inside the establishment are all curated; carefully selected items that are guaranteed to be only of great value and quality.
Baguio City is one of my favorite local destinations here in the Philippines ever since I was a kid. I’m sure many, if not all of you, have already been to Baguio City as well.
In fact, it may very well be the case that most of you probably have your own preferred lodging and accommodation choices when you visit this popular spot.
I actually have been to a quite a number of hotels, inns, and rental houses around Baguio City. But there is one particular place in Baguio that I have recently tried and truly enjoyed staying in — Holiday Inn Baguio City Centre.
Last weekend, my family and I wanted to make the most of our family’s time before our son flies off abroad for work (In case you aren’t aware, I wrote all about that on a previous post). So, we took the opportunity to enjoy a little quality family time not too far away from the metro by spending a couple of days in a resort located in Batangas that we’ve been meaning to visit for quite sometime now.
Guys! If you’re planning an upcoming getaway to beautiful and sunny Bali, Indonesia, check out my 5-part vlog series which covers my recent Bali adventure.
Finding a new place to live in is no small task. It takes a considerable amount time studying options, considering and reconsidering many other aspects. And if you’re a family guy, like me, you probably already know that finding the right place for your wife and kids is no small matter. It is, in fact, of utmost importance.
I personally love residential places that are located right in the heart of the city, yet seemingly so secluded that it actually makes you feel far away from it. It’s possible, you know. Places that are situated inside the busy and metro, but isolated from the noise and frantic lifestyle.
If you happen to be looking for such a place (or even if you aren’t yet), I’ll let you in on a secret. (Whispers) There’s this exclusive residential condominium I know of that is strategically located close to every action that happens in the city and, at the same time, offers the peacefulness of the suburban lifestyle.
The ambiance, the atmosphere, the spectacular performances, and the food. Oh, yes… the food!
Ibiza Beach Club BGC, which is located on the 6th floor of the W City Center building (7th Street cor 30th Avenue) in Bonifacio Global City, is undoubtedly a feast for the senses. It’s one of those special places that just captures you and leaves you in awe.
If you’ve already been hearing great things about Ibiza Beach Club BGC even as early as now, considering that the establishment is roughly still 3 weeks away from their actual opening, it is because the hype is real. It is perhaps no surprise for people who have already been to Ibiza Beach Club Cebu. For those who have recently had the pleasure of enjoying a special sneak peek and food tasting session (like me!) in this most talked about (and hippest) party place, the experience is truly unforgettable.
The first thing that comes to mind when I hear the name “Matabungkay” is childhood memories.
If you are more or less my age, living in the Philippines back in the ’80s and early ’90s, it is quite impossible not to know Matabungkay Beach Club. It is one of the most popular and notable destination resorts back then and home to many beautiful memories.
I was invited to visit Matabungkay Beach Hotel a couple of weeks ago to enjoy their recently launched Batangas Food Festival. The moment I stepped in, my first thought was, “Wow! This place is actually still alive and well after all these years!” In fact, the place has improved by leaps and bounds compared to what I used to remember of this nostalgic resort. The Matabungkay Beach Club of old is no more. Now called, Matabungkay Beach Hotel, this sprawling establishment boasts of many facilities and amenities that families and friends will truly enjoy.
No doubt, I will come back with family to experience this beloved place very soon but for now it’s all about their much celebrated Batangas Food Festival — and I was so excited to know more about it.
You see, from October to December 2016, Matabungkay Beach Hotel will be featuring the amazing dishes of the culture-rich province of Batangas through their Batangas Food Festival.
Expect traditional and diversified specialties from Matabungkay Beach Hotel with the expert help of Masflex Ambassador Nancy Reyes-Lumen, as well as Chef Jaja Andal and Chef Popit de Leon.
When it comes to hotels and finding a place where one can have a relaxing getaway, there are tons of options around. But there are only a few that really stand out no matter how brief one’s stay is.
One such place that impressed me a whole lot is the newly opened Somerset Alabang Manila. I had the pleasure of staying here just a couple of weeks ago and I must say, every praise I’ve heard that was said about this establishment is truly well deserved.
Although my stay at Somerset Alabang Manila was very brief (overnight, actually), I made sure to take advantage of the room we stayed in and make the most of the time we had.
I love discovering wonderful hotels that aren’t too far from home (aka “within the metro”) which make you feel as if you’ve truly escaped from the city. Many of these places around may claim to have this kind of appeal but only a few can truly deliver.
One such establishment that happened to be a pleasant surprise is Meranti Hotel, located along Sct. Castor St. in Quezon City, just right beside the first and original Max’s Restaurant.
It seems like only bigger and better things are in store for the rapidly developing city of Angeles — particularly the Clark Freeport Zone.
With plans of moving airline terminals to this bustling location and a much talked about (and eagerly anticipated) rail transport system in the planning stages, everything appears to be looking up.
One such establishment that is slowly making its mark and drawing people from far and wide is the newly opened Midori Clark Hotel and Casino — a 9,000 square meter property located inside the Clark Freeport Zone.
