Hey, everyone! It’s 2020 already! Can you believe it? I hope you guys had an enjoyable holiday season, free from problems and safe from thieves and cybercriminals who have been taking advantage of many people’s ignorance and gullibility.
And so, with the start of a new year (and a new decade), let me emphasize the importance of cybersecurity.
Hindi ko po ipagpipilit sa inyo kung sino sa palagay ko ang dapat ninyong ihalal sa darating na eleksyon. Bagamat meron lang po akong ipapakiusap sa lahat ng boboto sa Mayo 13…
Time flies so fast. If you don’t stop to smell the roses, so to speak, life will pass you by without you even noticing.
Just last week, I shared with all of you (through a blog post) just how saddened I am that my son will soon be leaving us to train and work in a different country. This time around, I am sharing with all of you another experience that just proves how fleeting life is.
My son, Ralph, is going away soon — and I’m having a hard time coming to terms with it.
You see, Ralph has long been preparing for his first job as part of the cabin crew of an airline company. For those who aren’t aware, he applied for the job last year when we heard that this airline company was hiring in Manila.
For those curious, the airline company’s headquarters where my son will be training and working at is located in Malaysia. This is where our son would be based for two (2) years once he starts his job.
Good times and lots of fun nostalgia. That’s exactly what what happened during our “OBMC Alumni Homecoming Episode 2” celebration last night at the Maria Montessori Hall, OB Montessori Center, Greenhills.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Resorts World Manila for making me one of the ambassadors for this year’s “Run With Me 2018″ charity run which was held last Sunday (August 26) at the MOA Concert Grounds.
Nilagnat at nag ka-trangkaso pa nga ako last Wednesday up until the night before the run. I was supposed to do the 10K but because of my cough, colds and fever, I decided to do the 5K instead dahil hindi pa ako fully recovered.
As public figures and personalities, there are a good number of us who don’t really comprehend and grasp the full extent of our influence and impact in the lives of our fans, supporters, and followers.
When I started seriously vlogging as of late, I did it as a way of expressing myself better and to share a little bit more of my everyday life. I wanted a new means to connect with my fans and supporters. I knew through comments and messages that I was, in my own little way, giving joy and happiness to many. But the true scope of my impact to some of my followers wasn’t all too clear to me — until now.
Who’s been following the NBA Finals lately? I know, I have!
I’ve been an avid NBA fan as far back as I can remember. And the game of basketball has pretty much been my life when I was a kid. I’d join league competitions and pickup games every single day along with my friends. That’s why watching NBA games is one of my favorite forms of relaxation and serves as a great stress reliever for me.
This year’s NBA Finals is particularly more exciting because of a couple of reasons:
This is the 3rd consecutive season that my team, the Golden State Warriors (Go, Dubs!), and the Cleveland Cavaliers are facing off in the Finals. A first in the NBA!
The Golden State Warriors have cruised through the Western Conference playoffs, straight to the Finals with absolutely NO LOSS! That’s right. After winning Game 2 of the NBA Finals yesterday, they are already 14-0 in the playoffs. Also, another record in the league! Insane!
And while it seems that the Golden State Warriors are every bit the juggernaut everyone expected them to be after signing NBA superstar and former MVP, Kevin Durant, many fans are still hopeful that the Cavs will bounce back from 0-2 deficit and win the series. While that may seem like a daunting task, it is not impossible. If you remember, during last season’s Finals, Lebron and the Cavs were also in a similar situation against the Warriors. They were down 1-3 in the series and yet they rallied to force a game 7 and ultimately win the championship.
I’m really hoping the Golden State Warriors maintain their winning streak and become the first team ever in the NBA to complete the playoffs undefeated.
Well, it’s that time of the year again when you can feel that undeniable excitement in the air.
No, I’m not talking about Christmas which also happens to be just ’round the corner. I’m talking about that most anticipated time of the year when the newest model of the best phone (in my opinion) on the planet makes its way over to our side of the planet.
