There are just some things in life that you never realized you couldn’t live without until you’ve finally experienced them. You can probably name a couple of things that have given you this kind of eureka moment. Some things that come to mind based on my own personal experience are perhaps Netflix (movies and tv shows galore!), the internet (I know, right?!), and well… juicy burgers (Hey! To each his own, alright?).
Well, because of a recent revelation I had during an event I attended just last weekend, an addition to my personal list of “things I can’t live without” is in order.Read more
Hong Kong is one of the places I absolutely love visiting with family. It’s makes for a great getaway every single time since Hong Kong is very near the Philippines, plus my family and I can experience great sights and incredible food.
But choosing a place to stay in this beautiful destination can be tricky at times. Logistics, comfort, and safety have to be top considerations.Read more
Last weekend, my family and I wanted to make the most of our family’s time before our son flies off abroad for work (In case you aren’t aware, I wrote all about that on a previous post). So, we took the opportunity to enjoy a little quality family time not too far away from the metro by spending a couple of days in a resort located in Batangas that we’ve been meaning to visit for quite sometime now.Read more

Many have already been asking me how I am able to stay in shape and still get to eat all the kinds of dishes that are normally “bawal” sa diet. Especially all the fatty food.
Many of you who follow me on Instagram and my Facebook Page know how much I loooooooove BACON, cheese, eggs, and Spam! If you think about it, most (if not all) of these are discouraged if you want to lose weight or cut down on cholesterol. But, I can’t stop eating them! Hahaha!
I also do a lot of travel blogging and vlogging which involves a LOT of eating, too! I mean… how else to immerse yourself in a new place than by experiencing the flavors of one’s culture right? Well, it used to be a challenge trying to watch my weight especially when there’s so much food around to enjoy. But, not anymore!
Wanna know my secret? It’s simple.Read more
My son, Ralph, is going away soon — and I’m having a hard time coming to terms with it.
You see, Ralph has long been preparing for his first job as part of the cabin crew of an airline company. For those who aren’t aware, he applied for the job last year when we heard that this airline company was hiring in Manila.
For those curious, the airline company’s headquarters where my son will be training and working at is located in Malaysia. This is where our son would be based for two (2) years once he starts his job.Read more
