Puregold unveils its new plane livery in partnership with AirAsia
Guess what, folks. Philippine retailer, Puregold Price Club Inc., is going full swing and taking its retail marketing from the ground to the skies with the formal launching of its new plane livery.
That’s right!
Up, up and away for AirAsia and Puregold
In partnership with AirAsia, voted the world’s best low cost carrier for eight consecutive years and a proudly ASEAN airline, Puregold today unveiled its first of two plane liveries at Clark International Airport. These liveries feature Puregold’s official name and logo prominently displayed on both sides of the body of an Airbus A320 aircraft.
Puregold President Vincent Co shared that like all things that they have been doing since they started their retail chain in 1998 up to their Initial Public Offering in 2011, this day heralds a perfect opportunity for Puregold to expand their brand’s reach. He adds that their partnership with AirAsia, a globally recognized brand, is anchored on a shared commitment to deliver value and the best quality service.

On stage, Philippines AirAsia CEO Captain Dexter Comendador also said a few words. He shared that AirAsia is honored to be carrying a homegrown retail brand on the ground and in the skies, extending as far as the whole of ASEAN region to China, Korea and into the AirAsia Group’s massive network of over 120 destinations.

Puregold has its name wrapped on two AirAsia aircrafts. The first Puregold livery aircraft was officially presented to the public today with a traditional water cannon salute upon arrival at Clark International Airport in a ceremony led by Clark International Airport Corporation President Alexander Cauguiran, Puregold President Vincent Co, Philippines AirAsia CEO Captain Dexter Comendador and Philippines AirAsia Head of Ancillary Business Karlo Sanchez.

“We are a sociable and innovative brand. We also take pride in our collaborative nature and this new livery demonstrates AirAsia’s creative approach to partnerships and marketing opportunities especially with companies that support and promote the Filipino brand of excellent service,” Captain Comendador said at the unveiling ceremonies in Clark Airport in Pampanga.

Puregold ended last year with a total of 329 stores nationwide. These included 277 Puregold stores, 12 S&R membership shopping warehouse, 23 S&R New York Style fast-food outlets, nine NE Bodega Supermarkets and eight Budgetlane Supermarkets. Wow. That’s A LOT!
