Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant – An incredible dining experience!
One of the most well-known Japanese restaurants in the country, and arguably the most authentic of them all is Yurakuen.
Being a lover of Japanese food myself, I recently dropped by Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant at Diamond Hotel to indulge on a good number of their spectacular offerings.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated with teppanyaki tables and how food is cooked in front of you. So, Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant was most definitely a dinner date I ain’t going to miss. But, apart from feeling like a giddy child again, I arrived prepared with a ready and able tummy.
So, shall we begin?
Teppanyaki All-You-Can-Eat at Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant
This particular evening, I was really looking forward to Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant’s Teppanyaki All-You-Can-Eat offering. Yes. You read that right. Delicious and unlimited Teppanyaki dishes as only Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant can offer.
But apart from that, I was also raring to enjoy the other delicious dishes that were prepared that night, such as the unlimited portions of sushi and sashimi platters. Heaven!
I had an absolute blast indulging on an incredible feast which included Grouper, Crab Stick, Tuna, Flying Fish Roe, Mackerel, Salmon, Shrimp, Egg, California, Dragon and Tempura Rolls. All these gastronomical delights and I haven’t even started on the beef teppanyakis yet! Must save some space for the main event. Hahaha!
Alas! After a few short moments, the time has finally arrived. The moment of truth, so to speak.

Chef Bebong made short work of the tenderloin and short ribs as he most definitely brought his game, masterfully flipping ingredients and skillfully using his cooking instruments to our delight.
OMG. I almost forgot my name as I took my first bite. Wow!
If you love beef teppanyaki, you shouldn’t miss Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant’s Wagyu A5. The perfectly marbled meat will make your mouth water in anticipation and excitement.
Although this Wagyu isn’t part of the Teppanyaki Eat-All-You-Can menu, it is most definitely a must try!
Check out the fiery skills of Chef Bebong as he prepared the Wagyu A5…
Of course, no good meal is without a delicious round dessert. Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant offers a selection of pleasantly sweet specialties to cap off a filling meal.
I gravitated towards the Green Tea Ice Cream with Sweetened Red Beans. Wow.
My wife, on the other hand, opted to go with the simpler Black Sesame Ice Cream. I naturally asked my wife for a couple of scoops of her dessert as well. It was just as good as the Green Tea Ice Cream.
After dessert, my wonderful friends from Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant even surprised me with a birthday song and a delicious birthday cake! I didn’t expect this at all. Thank you very much, guys! Hugs to everyone!
People who’ve already been to Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant before don’t really need convincing, let alone any explanation, why this restaurant is one of the must-visit dining places for those with discerning palates who truly enjoy fine Japanese cuisine.
Whether you’re taking family, celebrating an anniversary with your wife, or simply want to impress a date, Yurakuen Japanese Restaurant is your go-to destination.
And while you’re there, take advantage of Yurakuen Japanese Restaurantâs Teppanyaki All-You-Can-Eat during lunch and dinner for only Php 2,800.00 nett per person with one unlimited standard drink of your choice (soda, chilled juice, local beer or Kirin beer). Now, that is most definitely something worth your visit regardless of occasion, don’t you think?
But hurry, folks… Yurakuen Japanese Restaurantâs Teppanyaki All-You-Can-Eat offering is valid until October 2015 only.
Happy dining, everyone! Douzo meshiagare!
