Up until just recently, I never knew that there were so many wonderful establishments where one can indulge in great food in Bataan.
It’s true. For a good while back, I merely regarded Bataan as a typical “pass-through” province – a place one passes through in order to reach an intended destination. Boy, was I wrong. If you thought the same, then you’re gonna be pleasantly surprised while reading this post.
During my recent visit to Bataan to attend their wonderful Pawikan Festival, I discovered amazing (and sometimes quite interesting) food spots that locals and foreigners will enjoy visiting. Let’s have a quick tour around some of the great places to eat in Bataan, shall we?
Summer is just around the corner. Gyms are packed with people getting their bodies ready for the beach and some fun under the sun.
Of course, working out and lifting weights are great and all, but there are a couple of things one can additionally do in order to hasten the shedding of fat and achieving your goal in no time.
I, likewise, have started putting in more time doing cardio and a good amount of circuit training. But apart from that, I’ve become more conscious of the kinds of food I eat and also the particular times of the day I can enjoy them. Because, in case you aren’t aware yet, as much as physical activities are important, diet plays a very very big part in any weight loss program.
Who would’ve known that ube could be used in so many dishes and in so many unusual ways? Some of you probably know this and aren’t surprised, but I sure as hell didn’t.
I love ube! A lot! But I’ve only learned to enjoy it in the most common and typical of ways. You can pretty much imagine my pleasant surprise when I discovered the various ways that ube can be prepared and enjoyed when I recently flew to Bohol to attend their Ubi Festival 2016.
Bohol is probably the province I frequented the most last year, totalling to about 5 trips. And during all those visits, never was I told that Ubi (this is how Boholanos say “ube”) was such an important crop in this place. So much so that Bohol celebrates the Ubi Festival annually.
The Ubi Festival is held every year to give importance to the crop that feeds Bohol and other parts of the Philippines. Giving it the value and recognition it deserves is a testament to the tremendous love Boholanos have for ubi.

Valentine’s at NIU by Vikings is the perfect way to impress your special someone and set the mood for loooooove. Hahaha! But seriously, these dishes are incredible.
I encourage you to read on until the very end because I have a really cool Valentine’s surprise for you guys down below.

South Africa is known for many things for its rich heritge and culture. No wonder it is one of the more sought after destination spots in the world. Little did I know that even superb wine comes from this amazing place. One name that easily comes to mind when great wine is spoken of is […]
Great food. Wonderful music. That’s exactly what I recently experienced at a fairly young restaurant I visited just a week ago called, Jet 7 Bistro. I was able to drop by the “Press and Bloggers Night” of Jet 7 Bistro to see why this place is fast becoming one of the more talked about establishments […]
Just last week, I was part of Digicon Events Management’s annual charity event called, “STARSERVE”! This is actually my second year to participate in this amazing event wherein celebrities become restaurant servers for a night to help out kids in need. Last year, we were star servers for T.G.I. Friday’s, Tomas Morato. This year, it […]
Just had one hell of a dinner earlier at the Greenbelt 2 branch of Chihuahua Mexican Grill. Lots of laughter and food! This is one amazing place that never fails to serve good food as well as provide an amazing party atmosphere. It’s always fun when good friends (foodies, too!) get together in a place […]
If you’ve been monitoring the Philippine social media scene lately, you are probably already aware of the uproar Ms. Miriam Quiambao’s comments (about LGBTs) have caused just a few days ago. A case of misinterpretation, perhaps? Or maybe a case of choosing the wrong words to use for such a sensitive topic. In the middle […]
My wife and I always have tons of fun whenever we decide to have food delivered to our place. No. Not because of the food… but because of the spelling of our names on receipts which the establishment’s order-taker most oftenly mishears. The result? Hilariously outrageous mispellings that sometimes seem like names of totally different […]
A little more than a year after our very first Manila Bay dinner cruise, my wife and I were invited by Ms. Aileen Ng of Pirmi Travel Services to revisit this wonderful attraction and to enjoy the improvements and upgrades they’ve added. And so, here we are again! I’d like to thank Pirmi Travel for […]
