Have you ever been to Bali, Indonesia? Well, it’s one of those places that truly never leave your heart once you’ve visited the place. From the food, to the beautiful sights and wonderful scenery, Bali is a place that makes for one great getaway destination. No wonder so many people include Bali as one of their must-visit tourist spots.
Lucky for us, Pinoys… we can now visit this breathtaking place and behold its beauty by flying direct from Manila to Bali via AirAsia. This is exactly what I recently did with a couple of friends and acquaintances and I’d like to share a few photos of our quick trip ahead of my full vlog (which will be posted on my YouTube channel and Facebook page) which is coming out very soon.
Enjoy my quick photoblog, folks!
We arrived in Bali in good time and in very good spirits. Thank you, AirAsia, as always! From the airport, we went straight to Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort to check-in head over to the hotel for some much-needed shuteye.
As soon as we arrived at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort, we were given refreshingly delicious coconut drinks while checking-in. I loved it! *burp!* (Excuse me!)
Behold! Our beautiful room here at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort! Incredible, right?!
Gotta love Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort’s amazing bathroom!
Thank you Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort for the delicious welcome surprise inside our room!
We all enjoyed breakfast at the Presidential Suite of Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort. A variety of dishes were prepared for us. Would you care for some cheese and fruits?
Over breakfast, I also had a chance to play a few games of Jenga. Haha! Let’s play!
I also got to meet Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort’s very gracious General Manager, Mr. Dario Orsini.
Hangin’by the lobby of Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort just offers a breathtaking view of the entire area.
Who wouldn’t fall in love with a place like Bali, right?
Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort’s GM, Dario Orsini, and AirAsia Philippines Chairperson, Maan Hontiveros
After a very filling breakfast, I was actually very eager to burn some of the calories of by hitting the gym. Hahaha! Maybe later.
I asked my wife to take more pics of me on one of the top floors of Sheraton’s restaurant. I couldn’t help it. The place just begs to be Instagrammed. Haha!
A photo with the wifey was in order as well. This pose is what you call, “plandid”… short for Planned Candid. LOL!
We had lunch at a restaurant nearby the resort called, Bebek Tepi Sawah.
Lunch was great! Just a tad too spicy for me. Pwet problems, remember? Hahaha!
My wife seemed to enjoy it! Hahaha! Don’t get mad at me for posting this! LOL!
Just hangin’with Melo at the entrance of Sheraton Bali Kuta from the mall.
Later in the afternoon, I got to spend some time relaxing by the beach.
Just kicking back and taking in the fresh air, the sound of the waves, and well… enjoying some online time as well. LOL!
Oh, by the way! Thank you to Flytpack for their amazing pocket wifi device which always keeps me online anywhere in the world. I LOVE IT!
I heard that Bali had beautiful sunsets so I just had to stay a bit longer at the beach to witness it. Wow!
My wife couldn’t wait to have her photo taken inside our room. Instagram goals. Hahaha!
In the evening, we had a truly satisfying seafood dinner by the pool with a live acoustic band playing awesome hits prepared by Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort
Seafood, anyone? Yummy!
Next up… before a good night’s rest, a relaxing massage at Sheraton Bali Kuta’s spa was in order. I opted to have a foot massage instead since I’ve been walking the entire day. Ahhh! Yes… that feels sooooooo goooood!
Back in the room, we were surprised by Sheraton Bali Kuta with personalized shirts and cool Google cardboard items. They were waiting for us on the bed when we entered our respective rooms. Thanks, guys!
It was a short but very sweet stay at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort. I look forward to visiting again very soon. Next stop: Ubud!
