Meet the 3 amazing women of Luzviminda 4: Heirloom Recipes
Luzon is represented by Nancy Reyes-Lumen — celebrity cook, TV host, and self-proclaimed “Adobo Queen”.
Already a household name, Nancy Reyes-Lumen is widely considered to be one of the pillars of Filipino cuisine. The dishes she will showcase during this event denote a well-worn level of familiarity with its flavor profile. Dishes that easily comforts and hits the spot each time.

Chef Pauline Gorriceta Banusing
Representing Visayas is Chef Pauline Gorriceta Banusing, also known as Iloilo’s “palangga” of Gruppo Al Dente Catering Service.
Being an Ilonggo myself, I found out during the launch of Luzviminda 4: Heirloom Recipes that Chef Pauline and I happen to know a lot of common friends… plus she seems to know my wife’s relatives very well, too. Small world!

Chef Maria Kristina Collantes
Rounding up the trio and representing the flavors of Mindanao is Chef Maria Kristina Collantes of Park Inn by Radisson Davao.
Maria Kristina Collantes, or Teng as she is fondly called by friends, is no stranger to my family since we both used to be in the same Catholic community a couple of years back. We also happen to have a good number of common friends. But this is actually the very first time I’ve seen her strut her culinary know-how which actually impressed me a whole lot.
